Piyush Goyal’s Israel Visit to Boost Trade, Technology and Investments

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will visit Israel from 20–22 November 2025 on the invitation of Israel’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Nir Barkat. The visit highlights the growing partnership between India and Israel and their shared commitment to deepen cooperation in trade, technology, innovation and investment. Goyal will be accompanied by a 60-member business delegation supported by CII, FICCI, Assocham and Start-up India.

During the visit, the Minister will hold high-level meetings with senior Israeli leaders, including his counterpart Nir Barkat and other key ministers. Discussions will focus on boosting trade and investment, strengthening collaboration in agriculture, water management, defence, emerging technologies, life sciences, infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. Progress on the proposed India–Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is also expected to be reviewed.

Goyal will participate in the India–Israel Business Forum, which will host plenary sessions, technical discussions and B2B meetings to expand commercial partnerships and explore joint ventures. The fourth India–Israel CEOs Forum will also be held with top business leaders from both countries. The Minister will meet senior executives from major Israeli companies and visit innovation hubs in Tel Aviv. Engagements with the Indian community and cultural interactions are also part of the itinerary. The visit aims to strengthen economic ties and open new opportunities for collaboration.
