Apple’s India Revenue Projected to Reach $15 Billion by FY26

Apple is expected to generate $15 billion in revenue from India in the financial year 2026, according to a recent report. This marks a significant jump from the estimated $11 billion in FY25 and nearly doubles the Rs 67,121.6 crore it earned in FY24. The surge is mainly driven by the increasing popularity of iPhones in India, which now contribute around 70% of Apple’s local revenue.

Industry experts believe Apple is on track to become one of the top five smartphone brands in India. While iPhones remain the company’s top sellers, Apple is also pushing sales of iPads, AirPods, and MacBooks to strengthen its market position. Notably, partnerships with Indian enterprises like Wipro and Zoho have boosted MacBook sales as companies adopt Apple devices for their employees.

Apple’s iPhone sales in India are also witnessing record growth. Preliminary data suggests that more than 3 million iPhones were shipped in the first quarter of 2025 alone, up from 2.21 million during the same period last year.

In parallel, Apple has significantly increased its manufacturing in India. It assembled iPhones worth $22 billion in the past year, representing around 20% of its global output. This 60% year-on-year growth is largely attributed to the Indian government’s Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, which is encouraging global tech giants to expand local production and reduce dependence on China.
