Lava International has introduced two new budget smartphones under its Storm Series—Storm Play and Storm Lite—targeted at young Indian users seeking performance at an affordable price. The Storm Play will be available from June 19 at ₹9,999, while the Storm Lite will launch on June 24 at ₹7,999, both exclusively on Amazon.

The Storm Play is the world’s first phone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chip and is the first in its price range to offer LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP Sony IMX752 dual rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It runs Android 15 and promises a clean, bloat-free experience, with 6GB RAM (expandable by another 6GB) and 128GB storage.

The Storm Lite, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400, is the first Indian phone under ₹8,000 to offer this chip. It also comes with Android 15, a 50MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. Both models include IP64 dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Lava’s doorstep service support.
