Google has officially started selling its Pixel range of products directly to Indian customers through its own online Google Store. This marks the first time that Indian consumers can buy Pixel smartphones, watches, earbuds, and accessories directly from Google without relying on third-party sellers. The company aims to improve customer access and offer more purchasing options alongside its existing online and offline retail channels.
Mitul Shah, Managing Director of Devices and Services at Google India, said that the launch of direct sales is a step forward in meeting the growing demands of the Indian smartphone market. He emphasized that this move complements Google’s current retail presence and is part of a broader plan to reach users wherever they are.
Shah added that the company is focused on expanding retail access, improving customer support, and offering better affordability through various options. While he didn’t specify any timeline for the launch of physical Google stores in India, he confirmed that the Indian market remains a top priority for Google, especially with its focus on AI-driven devices.
This new approach reflects Google’s commitment to making its Pixel ecosystem more accessible to Indian consumers and strengthening its presence in the fast-growing market.
