Computex 2025, Taiwan’s largest technology trade show, is set to shine a spotlight on the latest developments in artificial intelligence, with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expected to take center stage once again. Running from May 20 to 23, the event will host around 1,400 exhibitors, including major names like Qualcomm, AMD, Foxconn, MediaTek, and Intel.

Huang, who gained a huge fan following at last year’s Computex, will deliver the keynote speech on Monday where he might announce new partnerships between Nvidia and top Taiwanese AI server manufacturers such as Foxconn and Quanta. Nvidia heavily relies on Taiwan’s tech ecosystem, and this year’s announcements may reflect both technical collaborations and the impact of growing U.S.-China trade tensions.

The event comes shortly after the U.S. proposed steep reciprocal tariffs, pushing tech companies to ramp up production in the United States. Nvidia in April committed to producing AI servers worth $500 billion in the U.S. over years, partnering with firms like TMSC and Wistron.

Apart from this, updates on AI PC plans will be revealed by Qualcomm and innovations in edge and cloud AI will be discussed by MediaTek. AMD is also expected to showcase developments in gaming and AI-powered personal computers.

Intel’s new CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, won’t speak publicly but will meet key partners privately.

Advantech, returning to Computex after a decade, will highlight its industrial AI systems. Its chairman noted that Computex has evolved from a consumer tech event to a platform showcasing advanced AI solutions for businesses.
