LG has unveiled its 2026 OLED TV lineup at CES 2026, highlighting a breakthrough model called the LG OLED evo W6, also known as the True Wireless Wallpaper TV. Measuring just 9mm in thickness, it has been introduced as the world’s thinnest OLED television.
Staying true to LG’s original wallpaper TV concept first seen in 2017, the new model mounts flat on the wall like a picture frame, creating a clean and minimal look. In a major upgrade, LG has made the setup truly wireless by moving all ports and connections to a separate Zero Connect Box, which can be placed up to 10 metres away. This allows the display to remain completely free of visible cables.
The OLED evo W6 is positioned as a premium and experimental product and is not yet available for commercial sale. LG has also clarified that the product has no link to any delivery or food services.
In terms of performance, the TV features Hyper Radiant Color Technology, delivering improved brightness, deeper blacks and richer colours, while reducing screen reflections. With Brightness Booster Ultra, the display can reach up to 3.9 times higher brightness than previous OLED models.
Visuals are powered by the new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which uses advanced AI processing to enhance picture quality naturally. For gamers, the TV supports 4K at 165Hz, ultra-fast response time and leading gaming technologies for smooth gameplay. Running on webOS, it also includes voice recognition, personalised profiles and enhanced data security through LG Shield.
