Indian Mobile Congress 2025 to Focus on Innovation

The Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will focus on how innovation can drive real, impactful change in areas such as digital infrastructure, sustainability, and societal progress as Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia unveiled ‘Innovate to Transform’ as the theme for this year. The 9th edition will take place at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in the national capital city from October 8-11.
The event is likely to attract more than 1.5 lakh visitors from around 150 countries including 400 exhibitors, more than 7,000 international delegates, and 800 speakers who will participate in more than 100 conferences. Apart from this, more than 1,000 use cases will also be showcased during the event which will cover next-generation technology such as 5G, 6G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), green tech, and electronics manufacturing.
The flagship startup program ASPIRE, launched in 2023, will return with over 500 startups. These innovators will have the opportunity to connect with more than 300 investors, including venture capitalists, accelerators, and incubators, through live pitching, mentoring, and networking sessions.
During the announcement, Minister Scindia emphasized that the theme reflects India’s journey of transformation driven by innovation. He highlighted that IMC 2025 will serve as a powerful platform to showcase India’s digital capabilities and growing global presence. Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary (Telecom), noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi envisions technology as the core driver for building a developed India by 2047.
In addition to launching the IMC theme, Minister Scindia also presented the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Telecom Excellence Awards and launched the ‘Sanchar Mitra’ scheme. This new initiative, led by student volunteers, aims to spread awareness about digital communication among citizens, further strengthening India’s digital journey.
