India Gears Up to Host SEMICON India 2025 With Global Pavilions & Startups

India is set to host SEMICON India 2025, one of the most anticipated global semiconductor events, from September 2nd to 4th, 2025, at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre), New Delhi. With the theme “Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse,” the event will mark a major step forward in India’s journey towards becoming a trusted global hub for semiconductors and electronics manufacturing.
Jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and SEMI, this fourth edition is poised to be the largest and most impactful so far, with participation from over 300 companies across 18 countries. The event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, academia, investors, and startups under one roof, showcasing India’s growing capability in the microelectronics and semiconductor value chain.
One of the key highlights of SEMICON India 2025 will be the debut of four International Pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia—signaling India’s increasing global relevance in semiconductor manufacturing. Also introduced for the first time will be eight Country Roundtables that will enable strategic bilateral discussions between Indian and international companies.
In a strong push towards skilling and future-readiness, the event will host several training, upskilling, and workforce development programs aimed at students and engineers. Career counselling and guidance initiatives will help channel young talent into India’s fast-growing semiconductor sector. Another key feature will be the introduction of a Semiconductor Design Startup Pavilion, which will offer a platform for emerging chip design startups to display innovation and attract investment.
Additionally, nine State Government Pavilions—up from six in the previous edition—will be part of the exhibition, reflecting growing interest from states in fostering semiconductor ecosystems locally. The three-day conference will feature global CXOs and technology experts sharing insights on semiconductor manufacturing, supply chains, innovations, and industry trends.
