ASUS AI-Ready Vivobook 14 with Snapdragon X Chip Launched in India

ASUS has officially launched the Vivobook 14 (X1407QA) in India, powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X (X1 26 100) processor and an integrated Hexagon Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for advanced AI capabilities. The laptop which is priced at ₹65,990 will be available for purchase starting July 22 through platforms like Flipkart and ASUS’s official online store. While ASUS hasn’t confirmed color options, the promotional materials show a sleek dark grey design.
The Vivobook 14 is designed for users seeking performance, portability, and next-gen AI integration. It features a 14-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and TÜV Rheinland certification to reduce eye strain. The device weighs just 1.49 kg and measures 17.9mm thin, making it a lightweight option for work or study.
Running on Windows 11 Home, it offers native support for Microsoft Copilot and even includes a dedicated Copilot button for quick AI assistance. The NPU inside can handle up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), making it ideal for tasks like AI-generated content and smart productivity features. Apart from this, the laptop also comes with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and fast data access.
ASUS has also included Dolby Atmos-enhanced stereo speakers and a 50Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging, promising all-day use with quick top-ups. The device is bundled with Office Home 2024 and a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription.
Commenting on the launch, Arnold Su, VP of Consumer and Gaming PC at ASUS India, said the new Vivobook brings together AI intelligence, sleek design, and solid performance for everyday users in India.
