Larsen & Toubro, through its Vyoma.AI subsidiary LTN Compute, has secured a mega order to build India’s largest single-cluster AI infrastructure a 10,000-GPU NVIDIA B300 AI factory at its Chennai data centre campus. The order, valued between Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 15,000 crore in L&T’s mega order classification, was secured as part of a partnership with Together AI to build the country’s largest NVIDIA B300 AI factory.

The Chennai campus is a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure site, with Phase I designed for 250 MW and power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA. The AI factory will power Together AI’s AI-native cloud platform for large-scale inference, fine-tuning, and training workloads, while simultaneously strengthening India’s AI infrastructure ecosystem and supporting global innovation demand.

The platform being developed combines hyperscale data centre infrastructure, accelerated computing, high-performance networking, ultra-low-latency interconnects, high-throughput parallel storage, and AI infrastructure operations designed to enable customers to deploy and scale AI workloads through a unified, end-to-end AI infrastructure stack.

SN Subrahmanyan, Chairman and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro, described the deployment as a significant milestone in L&T’s Gigawatt AI Infrastructure Mission and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to positioning India as a global hub for next-generation AI infrastructure. Vipul Ved Prakash, Co-founder and CEO of Together AI, framed the moment in broader historical terms, noting that making AI globally accessible is going to be the biggest infrastructure build-out in human history, and that L&T understands that scale and ambition.

The order adds a significant domestic anchor to L&T’s growing AI infrastructure play, coming at a moment when India’s data centre and compute infrastructure is emerging as a strategic priority — both for domestic AI deployment and for global technology companies seeking diversified, resilient AI infrastructure beyond their traditional hyperscale geographies.
