Lava Launches Affordable Smartphone Priced at ₹7,999

With an aim to target the budget-conscious users, Lava has come out with another affordable smartphone, Shark 5G, in India at the price of ₹7,999. With a 6.75-inch HD+ display, the users get an experience of a 90Hz refresh rate from smooth scrolling. It is powered by the UNISOC T765 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB internal storage, promising efficient multitasking and smooth app usage.

The Lava Shark 5G features a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Apart from this, the device comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, however, the box includes only a 10W charger.

Running on a clean, bloatware-free version of Android 15, the Shark 5G also includes a face unlock feature for added convenience. The device is IP54-certified for protection against dust and splashes. The phone is available in Stellar Gold and Stellar Blue. The customers can buy it from Lava’s official e-store and retail outlets.
