India, Germany Strengthen Ties with AI, Semiconductor, and Skilled Labour Initiatives
India and Germany unveiled a “Roadmap on Innovation and Technology” to bolster cooperation in artificial intelligence, semiconductor development, and clean energy during an Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC) meeting co-chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Agreements also included initiatives for skilled labour mobility, with Germany’s new strategy aiming to recruit 90,000 skilled workers annually from India, marking the first country-specific labour strategy for Germany.
