Redmi Pad 2 Debuts in India with 11″ Display and Helio G100 Chipset

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad 2 in India, expanding its tablet range with a feature-rich device built for both entertainment and work. Designed to deliver strong performance at a competitive price, the tablet also becomes the first in the country to come preloaded with Google’s “Circle to Search” feature.
The new device comes with an 11-inch 2.5K resolution LCD screen, offering a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a brightness peak of 600 nits. It supports 10-bit color depth and includes TÜV Rheinland-certified eye protection along with wet-touch functionality, allowing smooth use even with slightly damp fingers. The device is slim at 7.36mm and weighs 510g, available in grey and blue shades.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, offering a clean UI with integrated AI tools.
Camera features include an 8MP rear lens and a 5MP front shooter, suitable for video calls and everyday use. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker system enhanced with Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet is fueled by a 9,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, optional 4G LTE, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports stylus input, making it suitable for professionals and students.
Pricing begins at ₹13,999, with availability starting June 24 on Xiaomi’s official site, Amazon India, and retail stores.
