Redmi 15 5G Unveiled in India with 7000mAh Battery and AI Features

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 5G smartphone in India, bringing a large 7,000mAh battery and advanced AI-powered features at an affordable price point. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2. Priced from ₹14,999, the phone will be available from August 28 through Mi.com, Amazon, Mi Home stores, and select retail outlets.
The Redmi 15 5G comes in three variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at ₹14,999, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage at ₹15,999, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at ₹16,999. The phone sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ Adaptive Sync display with a 144Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland triple certification for eye comfort. For sound, it features Dolby-certified speakers with enhanced volume and the device comes in three colours – Frosted White, Midnight Black, and Sandy Purple.
On the camera front, the smartphone includes a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP auxiliary lens, and an 8MP front camera. Users also get AI tools like AI Erase, AI Sky, AI Beauty, and film filters. With 33W fast charging, 18W reverse charging, and support for virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB, the Redmi 15 5G aims to deliver performance, durability, and value for money.
