Poco M8 5G Launches in India With AMOLED Display and Big Battery

Poco has launched the new Poco M8 5G smartphone in India, strengthening its presence in the competitive sub-₹25,000 segment. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and runs on the latest HyperOS 2. It will compete with popular models such as the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and Realme P3 Pro. While the device closely resembles the Redmi Note 15 5G in design and features, Poco has positioned the M8 5G at a slightly more affordable price, making it an attractive option for value-focused buyers.
The Poco M8 5G is priced at ₹18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, ₹19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option, and ₹21,999 for the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant ₹2,000 discount using ICICI Bank cards or avail an exchange bonus of the same amount. An additional ₹1,000 discount is also available during the first 12 hours of sale. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart starting January 13.
In terms of specifications, the Poco M8 5G features a large 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. It packs a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and also offers 18W reverse charging. The phone comes with a 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 20MP front camera, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP65/IP66 water and dust resistance, all packed in a slim and lightweight design.
