POCO C85 5G Debuts in India With Big Display, 6,000mAh Battery & Fast Charging

POCO has launched its new budget-friendly smartphone, the POCO C85 5G, in India, aiming to offer strong performance and long battery life in the sub-₹12,000 segment. The company plans to attract users looking for a large display, reliable battery backup and smooth everyday usage. The smartphone will compete with other affordable 5G options such as the Infinix Hot 50, iQOO Z10 Lite and Lava Blaze 3.
The POCO C85 5G comes in three RAM and storage variants. The 4GB/128GB model is priced at ₹11,999, the 6GB/128GB variant at ₹12,999 and the 8GB/128GB option at ₹13,999. These are introductory launch prices available during the first sale. Buyers can also get an instant ₹1,000 bank discount when using HDFC, ICICI or SBI credit and debit cards, or choose a ₹1,000 exchange offer. With these benefits, the effective prices drop to ₹10,999, ₹11,999 and ₹12,999. The device will go on sale from 16 December at 12 noon, exclusively on Flipkart.
The highlight of the POCO C85 5G is its 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and an immersive viewing experience. It features a slim 7.99mm build, a quad-curved back and comes in Mystic Purple, Spring Green and Power Black. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 1TB. A large 6,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The device also includes a 50MP AI dual rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera and runs HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15. POCO has committed to two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
