Optiemus Infracom Limited, a leading name in India’s electronics manufacturing sector, has launched RhinoTech, the country’s first premium Made-in-India tempered glass screen protector brand engineered with glass from Corning™. This marks a significant milestone in the domestic mobile accessories market, combining global innovation with local manufacturing. Optiemus aims to achieve ₹1,800–2,000 crore in revenue by FY27 from RhinoTech sales.
Manufactured at Optiemus’ advanced facility in Noida, RhinoTech products promise world-class durability, superior clarity, and enhanced hygiene with anti-microbial glass. This is the first time such advanced screen protection technology, developed in Corning’s labs, is being locally produced for both Indian and global markets.
RhinoTech introduces several industry-first features, including unlimited replacements for up to one year and a fog mark for authenticity. Initially targeting premium smartphones, the brand will expand to serve the economy smartphone category in the coming months. Products will be available from September 2025 via the official RhinoTech website and select retail partners.
Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairman of Optiemus, emphasized the brand’s role in reinforcing the ‘Make in India’ vision, highlighting BIS certification and high-quality standards. He noted that RhinoTech aims to transform India’s fragmented and import-dependent screen protector market into an organized, quality-driven ecosystem.

The recent introduction of the world’s first BIS standard for “Chemically Tempered Glass Screen Protectors” is expected to raise product quality and consumer trust.
Sudhir Pillai, Managing Director of Corning India, expressed excitement about partnering with Optiemus, noting that RhinoTech will offer Indian consumers trusted, high-quality protection for their devices, meeting the growing needs of the mobile electronics industry.
