Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Debuts in India With Massive 7000mAh Battery

Motorola has introduced its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, in the Indian market, bringing a combination of a large battery, AI-powered features, and a high-refresh-rate display. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and is equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery, designed to support extended usage.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display offering 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with peak brightness levels reaching 5,200 nits. The display is Pantone-validated for colour accuracy and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola has also integrated Smart Water Touch technology, enabling responsive touch input even when the screen is slightly wet.
In terms of photography, the Edge 70 Fusion houses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera with optical image stabilisation, paired with a 13MP ultra-wide and macro sensor. On the front, the device offers a 32MP selfie camera capable of handling both photos and video calls. The handset supports 4K HDR video recording across cameras along with AI-driven imaging enhancements.
The smartphone also introduces Moto AI 2.0, offering features such as contextual suggestions, AI image generation tools and productivity enhancements. It supports AI assistants including Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity AI and Google Gemini, allowing users to choose their preferred AI chatbot.
Priced from ₹26,999, the device will first be available through a limited early sale on Flipkart on March 6, with wider availability starting March 12. The phone supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, which the company claims can provide a full day’s usage with just a few minutes of charging.
