Kodak TV India has rolled out its first smart TV running JioTele OS, a 43‑inch 4K QLED model priced at just ₹18,999 and sold exclusively on Amazon. The set focuses on Indian viewers, pairing a vivid QLED panel that displays more than a billion colours with HDR for sharper contrast.
A bezel‑less AirSlim frame keeps the design sleek, while an Amlogic chip, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage ensure smooth app switching. Sound is handled by 40 W Dolby Digital Plus stereo speakers with surround support, promising punchy audio for movies and sports. JioTele OS adds local flavour: users get 300+ live TV channels, over 200 apps, 300 JioGames titles and AI‑based viewing suggestions in multiple Indian languages.
A dedicated sports hub keeps cricket, football, Formula 1 and other updates one click away. Dual‑band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and ports for gamepads, keyboards and headphones make the TV ready for family gaming or work‑from‑home calls. The voice‑enabled remote offers hotkeys for Netflix, JioCinema and YouTube, and supports regional voice search so users can jump straight to their favourite shows in their preferred language.
Kodak says the launch bridges the content gap for India’s 32 million connected TV homes by uniting affordable hardware with locally relevant software.
