Honor is set to start manufacturing smartphones in India from November 2025, marking a significant step in its expansion strategy. PSAV Global, the brand partner of Honor in India, has confirmed that it is working with electronic manufacturing service providers to produce devices locally. According to PSAV Global Co-founder and CEO CP Khandelwal, the company aims to capture 1% of India’s smartphone market within the first year of production, translating into an estimated revenue of around ₹2,500 crore.

Honor has already introduced models such as the Honor X9c and X7c in India, with upcoming launches including the Honor V3 and Honor Magic 7 Pro. Khandelwal emphasized that once local production begins, Honor will align the launch of its global models with Indian timelines, ensuring simultaneous availability.

The move comes after initial delays due to pending Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) approvals and internal management changes at Honor’s headquarters. With clearances now in place for four models, the company is ready to move ahead. Industry reports highlight Honor as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands globally, competing strongly with established players. Local manufacturing is expected to further strengthen Honor’s position in India’s competitive mobile market.
