Aimtron Electronics Ltd has raised ₹100 crore through the issue of convertible warrants to establish a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. This funding round saw participation from its promoter group, including Mukesh Vasani and Nirmal Vasani, along with other strategic investors. The Board of Directors approved the issuance of 14,79,000 convertible warrants at ₹666 each, comprising ₹10 face value and ₹656 premium, totalling approximately ₹98.5 crore.
The funds will be used to develop a modern facility adjacent to Aimtron’s current unit in the Waghodia GIDC area. Spanning three acres, the new plant will house five advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines and full-scale assembly units, enabling Aimtron to expand its capabilities in box-build projects and system-level integration under one roof.
Headquartered in Chicago, Aimtron Electronics offers end-to-end electronics manufacturing services (EMS), PCB assembly, and product design. The company caters to diverse industries, including automotive, medtech, aerospace, power, industrial, gaming, IoT, and robotics.
