Apple Intelligence Now Available in India

Apple has introduced its advanced AI-powered features to Indian users with the launch of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. This update expands Apple Intelligence support to more regions, including India, and brings localized English (India) language support alongside French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and more.

With this rollout, users can now access powerful AI-driven tools that enhance productivity and creativity. The Writing Tools feature allows users to rewrite, proofread, and summarize text across apps like Mail, Messages, and Notes. It also enables tone adjustments and grammar checks. The Clean Up tool in Photos helps remove unwanted objects or people from images while maintaining their authenticity.

Smart Search in Photos enables users to find moments using natural language descriptions, such as “Amit playing cricket.” Meanwhile, the Memories feature allows the automatic creation of memory movies by arranging photos and videos based on user-provided text descriptions.

The Image Playground feature lets users create images with themes, costumes, and settings in styles like Animation, Illustration, and Sketch. It is available as a standalone app and within Messages, Freeform, and Keynote. The Genmoji feature allows users to generate custom emojis based on descriptions or personal photos. The Image Wand tool in Notes transforms rough sketches into refined images and generates visuals based on surrounding text.

Apple Intelligence also enhances Mail with a Priority Messages section, bringing important emails like boarding passes and urgent invites to the top of the inbox. Priority Notifications summarize lengthy alerts, ensuring users focus on essential updates. Additionally, the Notes and Phone apps now offer audio transcription and summarization, making it easier to recall key conversation points.

Siri has been upgraded with a more natural conversational interface, the ability to switch between voice and text, and improved device-related assistance. Visual Intelligence enables object recognition, text translation, and calendar event creation from images. Apple has also integrated ChatGPT within Siri and Writing Tools for advanced responses and image generation.

Apple Intelligence is available on select devices, including iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 series, iPad Air (M1 and later), iPad Pro (M1 and later), and Mac models powered by M1 chips or newer.
