Xiaomi 15 Ultra Becomes Brand’s Most Expensive Flagship in India

Xiaomi has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in India. With the Xiaomi 15 Ultra priced at ₹1,09,999, the brand has crossed the ₹1 lakh price mark for the first time in the country. In contrast, the standard Xiaomi 15 is available for ₹64,999, making it ₹5,000 cheaper than its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available in a single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. Pre-bookings begin on March 19, while an exclusive “Inner Circle Sale” for photography enthusiasts starts on March 18 via mi.com. Open sales for both models will commence on April 3 through mi.com, Amazon, and authorized retail stores. Customers pre-booking the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will receive benefits worth ₹21,999, including the Legend Edition Photography Kit, while Xiaomi 15 buyers will get pre-booking benefits worth ₹10,999, including a Xiaomi Care Plan.

Both smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a cutting-edge quad-camera setup, developed in collaboration with Leica. It includes a 50MP Sony LYT900 primary sensor, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, a 200MP periscope lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The Xiaomi 15, on the other hand, has a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary, 50MP ultra-wide, and 50MP telephoto lens. Both models feature a 32MP front camera.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display, a 6000mAh battery, and 90W fast charging, while the Xiaomi 15 has a 6.36-inch AMOLED display, a 5400mAh battery, and 50W wireless charging.
