Optiemus Collaborates with KunWay Technology to Enhance Drone Manufacturing in India
Optiemus Unmanned Systems, a subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom Limited, has partnered with Taiwan’s KunWay Technology to boost drone manufacturing in India. The collaboration aims to produce and localize KunWay’s advanced drone models for the Indian market, with the possibility of expanding the portfolio based on demand.
Using its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Noida, Optiemus will leverage its local expertise and infrastructure to produce KunWay’s drones. KunWay, renowned for its specialization in drone design and AI system development at the Chiayi AI Drone Center in Taiwan, has a strong presence in the US and Japan. The company is focused on improving drone precision and adapting to global market needs.
Ashok Gupta, Chairman of Optiemus Infracom, expressed that the partnership aligns with the company’s goal of expanding its product range in India, with a specific focus on defense and homeland security sectors. KunWay’s President & CEO, David Chung Yi Liu, highlighted India’s growing technological competencies as a key reason for the market’s strategic importance.
This partnership also follows Optiemus’s earlier collaboration with LS Spectrum Solutions for drone-based spectrum analyzer distribution in India.
