Driving Financial Inclusion: CSC and CAIT Join Hands to Empower India’s Traders and Citizens

In a significant step toward financial inclusion, CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd., under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, and the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaboration, announced at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, aims to connect India’s traders and citizens with key government welfare schemes.
Through this partnership, CSC will organize dedicated camps in collaboration with CAIT to facilitate registrations for schemes such as the National Pension System (NPS), Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Scheme, and more. This initiative ensures last-mile access to financial and social security programs, empowering millions across India.
CAIT National President B.C. Bhartia highlighted the transformative potential of the partnership, which leverages CAIT’s network of over 9 crore traders and CSC’s 6 lakh digital centers. “This MoU strengthens the backbone of India’s economy by securing the financial future of grassroots traders and promoting social inclusion,” he said.
CSC’s Managing Director, Sanjay Rakesh, emphasized the organization’s commitment to empowering communities in remote areas, reinforcing its pivotal role in the Digital India Mission. This collaboration reflects the government’s vision of a digitally and financially inclusive India.
