US-based fabless semiconductor company Enfabrica Corporation has officially launched its India operations with a new R&D center in Hyderabad. The company plans to significantly expand its workforce, aiming to quadruple employee strength by the end of 2025.
The Hyderabad facility will focus on developing Accelerated Compute Fabric SuperNIC (ACF-S) silicon and networking software to power next-generation AI infrastructure, including GenAI training, inference, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
India’s advanced digital public infrastructure provides an ideal ecosystem for scaling modern AI solutions, making it a key market for Enfabrica’s expansion.
To date, Enfabrica has raised $260 million from investors such as Sutter Hill Ventures, Nvidia, Samsung Catalyst, Cisco Investments, and Arm. With this expansion, the company is poised to play a critical role in AI-driven semiconductor innovation in India.
