Vivo is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated Vivo V50 smartphone in India. The company recently teased the device on X (formerly Twitter), confirming its imminent arrival with a strong focus on photography. The Pro variant was not mentioned, suggesting it may have a separate launch date. The Vivo V50 is expected to debut in the third week of February 2024.

The teaser post hints at a camera-centric smartphone, continuing Vivo’s legacy in mobile photography. The hashtag #ZEISSPortraitSoPro confirms that the camera system is co-developed with Zeiss, a renowned German optics brand. Reports suggest that the Vivo V50 could be based on the Vivo S20, which launched in China last year.

The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and house a 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The camera setup may include dual 50MP rear sensors and a 50MP front camera for high-resolution selfies.

With IP68 and IP69 protection, Vivo V50 promises durability along with flagship-level features. Stay tuned for the official launch details.
