SEMICON India 2024: Catalyzing India’s Semiconductor Ambitions

SEMICON India 2024, held from 11th to 13th September in Greater Noida, aimed to strengthen India’s position as a global semiconductor hub. With over 250 companies from 24 countries participating, the event facilitated business partnerships across the entire semiconductor supply chain, from equipment manufacturing to fabs.
Akash Tripathi, CEO of the Indian Semiconductor Mission (ISM), emphasized the strategic importance of SEMICON India in fostering business-to-business interactions and addressing India’s growing semiconductor needs, driven by five major ongoing projects.
The event also featured the Semiconductor Executives’ Summit on September 10, which focussed on best practices and lessons learned from global experiences. Co-located with the Electronica and Productronica Exhibition, SEMICON India highlighted the synergy between electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.
