DPIIT Partners with HCL Software to Boost India’s Manufacturing Startups

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has joined hands with HCLSoftware to advance India’s startup manufacturing ecosystem. Announced on October 23 at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi, this partnership is part of DPIIT’s Manufacturing Incubation Initiative under the Startup India program.

The collaboration aims to position India as a global manufacturing hub, leveraging HCL SYNC to provide startups with international market exposure. To date, DPIIT has signed over 80 MoUs with industry stakeholders to foster innovation.

Key objectives include developing Indian intellectual property, enhancing product quality, and creating a robust manufacturing ecosystem. DPIIT Joint Secretary Sanjiv Singh emphasized the importance of corporate involvement in nurturing startups, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

HCLSoftware’s Kalyan Kumar reiterated the company’s commitment to empowering startups with cutting-edge solutions, driving innovation, and supporting India’s manufacturing ambitions.
