BIS Launches Student Hackathon to Promote Indian Standards
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) initiated a Hackathon aimed at student teams from institutions with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BIS. The event encouraged creativity and problem-solving by addressing real-world challenges related to Indian Standards.
Participants were tasked with designing a platform for online activities and games to raise awareness about the importance of standards in ensuring quality and safety. This initiative aims to engage a broader audience and enhance understanding of quality standards in India.
